Daycare
The daycare center is a place where children stay while parents are at work or at school. At the daycare center a child can get to know other children and learn Finnish.
In family daycare, the child will stay at someone else's home. There are up to four children in a group. For family daycare, you can apply the same way as for municipal daycare.
Food is free of charge in both kindergarten and family daycare. Your child will get breakfast, lunch and a snack. Parents pay for daycare according to family income.
