For employers

As an employer, you have the opportunity to receive support for hiring a new employee.   

If the person being hired is an unemployed jobseeker, the Employment and Economic Development Office (TE Office) or the local government pilot project can grant your organisation a pay subsidy.  The pay subsidy is a form of financial support to help cover the costs of hiring an unemployed jobseeker.

The City of Kerava can also grant an additional subsidy for businesses, associations and foundations that hire an unemployed jobseeker whose place of residence is Kerava and who has been unemployed for at least 6 months or is otherwise in a difficult labour market situation. Offer an apprenticeship
