Programme and location

The Circus Market is a traditional urban event in Kerava, where circus performances and autumn markets gather residents together. During the event, the city will also be visited by the Suomen Tivoli funfair. The next Circus Market will be held on 5–6th of September 2026 in Kivisilta.

Music

The Circus Market programme also features a great line-up of live music! Performing over the weekend are Eppi Ursin, Sami Saari ja Tessa Virta Duo and Knucklebone Oscar. The concerts will take place on the Energiakontti stage.

Suomen Tivoli

As in previous years, Suomen Tivoli amusement park will be joining the Circus Market in Kerava. Expect fun rides, the sweet scent of candyfloss and a lively fairground atmosphere. Find out more on the Suomen Tivoli website.

Admission to the amusement park area is free, but tickets are required for rides and games.

Markets

The market is open from 12 noon to 6 pm on both event days. Visitors can browse local products, learn about different services and enjoy culinary delights from around the world.

Free admission to Sinkka on Saturday

Admission to Art and Museum Centre Sinkka is free on Saturday 5 September, from 11 am to 5 pm.

How to get there

The event will take place in the Kivisilta area at Kivisillantie 1. Kivisilta is located approximately one kilometre from Kerava railway station. The route from the station to the event area will be signposted during the event.

Thousands of visitors are expected to attend. Whenever possible, we recommend travelling to the Circus Market by the free circus bus, public transport, bicycle, e-scooter or on foot. Parking spots are limited in the area.

Free circus bus

The free circus bus provides a quick and convenient connection from Kerava railway station directly to the event area and back.

The circus bus departs from Kerava railway station every 30 minutes and runs directly to the event stop on Kytömaantie, next to the Kivisilta event area.

For the return journey to the town centre, the circus bus departs from the event stop on Kytömaantie at 15 and 45 minutes past each hour and runs directly to Kerava railway station.

The bus is also accessible to passengers travelling with a walker, wheelchair or pram.

History of the Circus Market

The first Circus Market was held in 1978. Originally, the main goal of the market was to raise funds for a statue in honour of the circus and funfair tradition in Kerava. The circus statue was unveiled in 1979 and is still located on the pedestrian street.
