About Elzu

Elzu’s name derives from the old Elanto property, and the youth centre emanates an old-fashioned atmosphere.

Elzu is a safe environment with activities for children and young people. Activities at the centre include pool, table tennis, PlayStation games, board games and simply hanging out with friends. Learn more about e-sports and Elzu’s gaming room on the digital youth work page.

Elzu hosts pool, table tennis and video game tournaments. There is also a small gym at the centre. Activities at Elzu are built around the wishes of children and young people, and there is always a safe, adult youth worker present at the centre. Alcohol, drugs and smoking are prohibited at Elzu youth centre and its outdoor areas.

The centre is also used by local associations, and the facilities can be booked for events such as annual meetings, club activities and birthdays.
