Playschool activities
Playschool activities are intended for children aged 2–5. Attendance is subject to a separate fee, and the activities are based on the goals of early childhood education. Playschool is provided for three hours in the mornings and afternoons.
The customer fee is based on the child’s weekly attendance:
- 2 times a week = 25 euros per month
- 4 times a week = 35 euros per month
Attendance in a playschool does not affect your home care allowance or the municipal supplement for home care allowance.
Playschool staff are trained professionals in the field of education. Playschool is usually open for 3 hours in the mornings between 8.30 to 12.30 and in the afternoons between 12.30 to 16.00.

Applying for playschool
Applications for playschools starting in autumn are open from 1 April to 30 April. Applications for a playschool place are made again each year. After the application period, vacant playschool places can be applied for through a continuous application. You can apply for playschool with an electronic application in Edlevo. Playschool application decisions will be sent to families by the end of June. Each child can be given a placement at only one playschool at a time.
Liikuntaparkki playground groups
Playground group at the Kerava Ice Hall are intended for children aged 2–5 years in home care. The playground group is free of charge for families and is a form of support for home care. The group is run by Untola activity centre’s staff.
Liikuntaparkki playground activities are organised on Fridays from 7.9.2024, with the exception of holidays. The playground group is located at the Kerava Ice Hall from 9.00 to 11.00. The maximum stay in the group is two hours for each child.
You must register for Liikuntaparkki every week in advance by calling the instructors by 12:00 on Thursday of the current week. Tel. no.: 040 318 2568. A maximum of max. 10 children.
