  • You can check the status of ski trails in the map service. Go to map service.

Depending on the maintenance status, trails are marked as “käytössä” (in use) or “ei käytössä” (not in use).

  • At the start of the ski season, the trail in Keinukallio is created using artificial snow as a cooperation between the city and Keravan Urheilijat. With the help of volunteers from Keravan Urheilijat, artificial snow can be added round-the-clock to ensure the best possible skiing conditions. Snowmaking and the grooming of trails with natural snow begins as soon as weather conditions permit.

For safety reasons, trails are mainly groomed at night as during the day, skiers and the groomer machine on the trails at the same time may cause dangerous situations. Trails are also groomed during the day, on holidays and on weekends.
