Library card and customer information

With the Kirkes library card, you can borrow materials at the libraries of Kerava, Järvenpää, Mäntsälä and Tuusula. The first library card is free of charge. You can receive the card at the library by presenting a valid photo ID. Persons under the age of 15 can receive the card with the written consent of the guardian.

You can print the library card application here (pdf).

Your library card is for personal use. The library card holder is responsible for the material borrowed with the card. We recommend setting a four-digit PIN code for your library card. With your library card number and PIN code, you can log in to the Kirkes online library, visit Kerava’s self-service library and use the e-library of Kirkes libraries.

A library card of a child under 15 can be connected to the guardian’s profile in the e-library. To connect the card, you need the PIN of the child’s card.

As our customer, make sure that your contact information is up to date. Report changes of address, name and other contact information in the Omat tiedot section of the Kirkes e-library or in the library’s customer service. The guardian can also change the contact information of a child under 15.

The library does not receive information about changes of address from the post office or local register office.
